How this is worked out
Counting 7 weeks back from 9 October 2026 gives Friday, August 21, 2026. Every day in between is counted, weekends and public holidays included, which is how deadlines, notice periods and delivery windows are normally expressed.
If your count should skip weekends, use the business-day figure instead: 35 working days separate the two dates. Public holidays are not deducted, because they differ by country — check your own calendar if a holiday falls inside the span.
